Ape Hangers offer a classic, rebellious American look. With high handlebars, the rider’s hands are positioned at or above shoulder level. This position provides a comfortable, upright back posture for relaxed cruising on highways. However, high bars require extra shoulder effort when navigating sharp corners and can cause arm fatigue on long trips due to reduced blood circulation in the upper hands.
Conversely, Drag Bars offer an aggressive, forward-leaning riding position similar to sportbikes. These straight bars provide highly responsive steering and agile control when navigating city traffic or winding roads because the rider’s center of gravity is shifted forward.
